My boyfriend and I had a special night here celebrating his birthday. This was our first time doing omakase so we didn’t know what to expect. The venue offers 3 hour complimentary valet which was amazing! We got there a little early and were told to order a drink and have a seat in the VIP area while we waited for the rest of the party. It wasn’t clear if the two restaurants were together or separate and should be clarified. The first lounge area had great vibes and we loved the atmosphere. We both wanted cocktails but they don’t have a cocktail menu and are limited on what they will make. We both agreed the espresso martini and an old fashion with a twist were great. I like a cocktail for a fancy night out, but they had lots of wine and sake options if you prefer those. I like wine but the single glass was more then most steakhouses. We were asked if we wanted to elevate our meal with caviar and truffles but we declined since it would be another $100 per person. That’s being said we really enjoyed the sushi experience without the add ons! Would recommend for the special occasion and love the vibes. Bathrooms were nice too.

Katei Omakase is one of the best dining experiences in Fort Worth. The intimate 10-seat setting, exceptional 20-course tasting menu, and chef-guided presentation make every course feel special. The blend of traditional Japanese techniques with Texas and Mexican influences is creative without losing authenticity. Every bite was beautifully prepared, thoughtfully explained, and absolutely delicious. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply love omakase, Katei is an unforgettable experience that's well worth the reservation. I can’t wait to return

We had an incredible experience at Katei Omakase in Fort Worth! I took my mom for dinner, and it was such a special evening. The fish was unbelievably fresh and absolutely delicious. Every course was beautifully prepared, and the sake pairing was excellent. Our bartender was amazing, friendly, attentive, and made the entire experience even more enjoyable. If you’re looking for the best omakase in Fort Worth, with fresh sushi, premium fish, exceptional sake, and outstanding service, I highly recommend Katei Omakase. It was a wonderful dining experience, and we can’t wait to come back!

Fantastic omakase spot in Dallas. The quality of the fish was outstanding, and the seasonal Japanese menu felt very thoughtful and intentional. The sushi bar experience was intimate and well paced, and the staff provided genuinely great service throughout the meal. You can tell a lot of care and attention goes into every course. My visit to Katei was simply extraordinary. From the very first moment, the experience feels thoughtfully designed. Upon entering the first lounge, the attention is immediate and warm.
